Statement of Faith

Our Statement of Faith:

  • The Bible as the Word of God: We affirm that the Bible is divinely inspired, inerrant, and the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
  • God as Creator: We believe the universe is the good creation of one living God, and that humans, made in His image, are called to love, worship, and care for one another.
  • Human Sin: We acknowledge that sin, resulting from our rebellion against God, separates us from Him and each other, warranting His judgment and the need for redemption.
  • Human Worth: Despite the effects of sin, every person is uniquely valued, with inherent dignity and equality, and is loved by God through His grace.
  • Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior: We proclaim Jesus as the uniquely appointed Messiah whose sacrificial death and resurrection offer salvation and reconcile us to God.
  • God the Holy Spirit: We testify that the Holy Spirit empowers believers for ministry, convicts of sin, and unites us to Christ, enabling us to live holy lives.
  • The Church and God’s Mission: We affirm that the Church, as a community of believers, is commissioned to worship God and share the Gospel, fulfilling the Great Commission.

God calls us to love Him fully and extend that love to others through compassionate service, justice, and a commitment to the transformative power of His grace.
